Brainwash Festival

Beste lezer,

Brainwash festival 2025 staat weer voor de deur! Op Brainwash Festival 2025 kantelen baanbrekende filosofen, wetenschappers, theatermakers en schrijvers de blik op onszelf en de wereld waarin we leven. Schurende ideeën, gedurfde gedachten en nieuwe visies komen samen op het grootste jaarlijkse denkfestival van Nederland en België, op zondag 19 oktober 2025 in Amsterdam. We zijn al hard aan de slag om Brainwash Festival 2025 weer tot een groot succes te maken. We maken een fantastisch programma met circa 80 spraakmakende sprekers, theatermakers, wetenschappers en filosofen. Ben je benieuwd naar wie er dit jaar op het programma staat? (https://brainwashfestival.nl/) Het festival zal dit jaar wederom plaats vinden op verschillende locaties op en rondom het Leidseplein in Amsterdam (De Melkweg, Paradiso, De Balie, Bellevue, De Vondelkerk en Club Up).

Lijkt het je leuk om daar onderdeel van te zijn? Graag! Wij zijn namelijk op zoek naar enthousiaste vrijwilligers om ons team te ondersteunen. Je gaat dan aan de slag als zaalwacht, publieksbegeleider, ticketbaliemedewerker of sprekersbegeleider op één van de locaties en krijgt op deze manier de festivalsfeer goed mee. In ruil voor jouw hulp krijg je, naast een leuke ervaring, toegang tot een deel van het programma en gratis toegang tot de afterparty. Lunch en/of diner wordt verzorgd.

In september wordt er contact met je opgenomen voor het maken van een definitieve indeling en planning. Maar zet na aanmelding de datum maar alvast in je agenda, want we kunnen je hulp zeker gebruiken!

Dear reader,

It is almost time for Brainwash festival 2025! At Brainwash Festival 2025, philosophers, scientists, theater makers and writers offer us new approaches to expression, helping us to understand ourselves and the world in these times of change. Ideas collide and chafe, bold thoughts are given free rein, and insightful visions and viewpoints culminate in new ways of thinking. Behind the scenes, we are working hard to make the festival a success again. This year the festival will be on the 19th of October. We created an amazing program with around 80 speakers, theatre makers, scientists and philosophers.  Are you curious about what is on the program this year? Take a look at our website! (https://brainwashfestival.nl). The festival will take place at several locations around Leidseplein in Amsterdam (De Melkweg, Paradiso, De Balie, Bellevue and Club Up). 

Would you like to be part of the organization of this festival? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our team. You will be working as a host, ticket scanner or audience support at one of our locations. In exchange for your help you will get, next to a nice experience, access to part of the festival program and free excess to the afterparty. Lunch or/and dinner will be provided.
